On Thursday, April 18th, the students and staff of Amanda-Clearcreek High School and Middle School welcomed former Buckeye, Joel Penton. During separate assemblies, Joel shared his message of inspiration and determination with A-C students. Students had the opportunity to participate in some interactive activities with Joel. Students were very excited to meet Joel and hear his message. In an evening performance, Joel and musical guest Ryan Holliday, performed for a crowd of around 200 people. Due to some amazing sponsors, all audience members received a copy of Joel’s newest book. Overall, this was an amazing day, and we are very happy to have experienced Joel and his powerful message. We look forward to having him at ACHS in the future!

The Amanda-Clearcreek Local Schools District Board of Education hereby gives public notice in accordance with Section 3309.345 of the Ohio Revised Code that Michael Patrick, employed in the District as Dean of Students, will be retiring and it seeking employment with the District in such position. The Board of Education will hold a public meeting on the issue of Michael Patrick being employed in the District at 7:00pm on May 13, 2013 at the regular Board Meeting.
