In league action, Caleb Horne (152) and JJ Tipton (170) were the winners of their respective weight classes. Second-place MSL honors were achieved by Billy Shannon (113), Nick Hoffmann (120), and Spencer Chenetski (195). Jared Dilley (132), Austin Johnson (145), Brad Minnard (182), and Jake Genders (220) all received third-place Honorable Mention honors for the MSL.
The Varsity Aces Mat Men are led by Billy Shannon with an overall record of 30-7; Nick Hoffmann, who went 25-15; Jared Dilley, whose record was 37-6; Austin Johnson, who posted a 24-11 overall; Caleb Horne (36-4); Brad Minnard (32-10); JJ Tipton (37-4); Spencer Chenetski (34-5); Jake Genders (30-7); and Jamie Luck (21-15).
Coach Brian Brison led his AC wrestlers to the school's very first MSL wrestling championship. The victory at Circleville on February 9 also marks the first time in 52 years for Boys' Varsity teams to win a fall season league championship (in football led by Coach Dale Olney) and a winter season championship.

WRESTLING TEAM FAVORITE MOMENTS The wrestling team won the District Tournament for the first time in school history finishing on top of the 63 teams competing. Joey Coe, Billy Shannon, Nick Hoffman, Jared Dilley, Caleb Horn, Steven Fearnow, JJ Tipton, and Jordan Leasure all qualified for the state tournament. Austin Shannon finished in 5th place making him a state alternate. Jared Dilley won the event. One third of all of the wrestlers to ever qualify for the state tournament in school history qualified on Saturday.
For the first time in school history, the Amanda-Clearcreek Wrestling Team has captured the Mid-State League championship! Head Coach Brian Brison and assistant Dale Olney credit a strong work ethic and outstanding preparation for a season where the Aces Mat Men racked up a 7-0 league record and a 17-2 overall record. The title was assured during a dramatic end-of-season triangular match between the Aces, the Falcons of Fairfield Union, and the Tigers of Circleville at Circleville on Thursday, February 9. Wrestling Fairfield Union first, the Aces “pinned” their opponents with a team score of 69-12. Circleville then fell to the Aces by a team score of 43-27, caMSL record for this year’s ACHS team.

AC Athletic Booster Club The Athletic Booster Club is a vital part of our school’s athletic program. Without the support of our Athletic Booster Club our sports pay to participate fees would be much higher. The Booster Club provides assistance to our school sports in many ways! We provide new uniforms as needed for our sports, assist with the purchasing of equipment (just last year we purchased a new wrestling mat, repaired the scoreboard in the gym, and other items) and the last several years the Booster Club has assisted with Pay to Participate fees.
