Why take the PSAT?
• Scholarship program - depending on your score and selection index (number derived from your scores) you could be eligible to be a National Merit Scholar. This can translate into scholarship dollars if you are eligible and end up a finalist! There is an additional application process for those that end up qualifying based on their test score.
• Has an online score report and college search engine to use with making future plans. Scores help as indicators for future placement and success in AP classes students might be interested in.
• Good standardized testing practice in general to prepare you for the ACT or if you decide to take the SAT. You can take the ACT or SAT for college admission purposes.
College Reps at Amanda Clearcreek
